Receiving Sprint Relay Calls:
When you receive a relay call and hear, “Hello a person is calling you through Sprint Relay…” - don’t hang up! When you receive a relay call the first time you may think a telemarketer is calling, but the Sprint Relay call may be the most important call you receive, as the person calling may be deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, or have a speech disability. They are making calls or contacting you to do business - just like everyone else.
Receiving Sprint CapTel Calls:
On CapTel calls, no special announcement is made by the operator. The CapTel user will speak for themselves and announce their call in any way they like when you answer the phone.
