Sprint Internet-based Relay (IP Relay and IP CapTel) services are fully functional. In the event of an outage of service, a notification will be posted with restoration details.

A platform change to include new FCC required registration rules caused an intermittent interruption to a small group of IP CapTel users. When attempting to place an IP CapTel call, they would see a “Waiting for Captions” message. This was fixed as of 9:45am CT and all IP CapTel calls are now functioning as expected.

Sprint’s Wireless Captel service is experiencing an outage also affecting the wireless voice mail service.   Wireless Captel customers are unable to make calls at this time.  This is only affecting wireless service.  All other Captel service is operating as normal.
