To Make an Emergency Call:

Using Your Videophone:

  1. User adds “911now.tv” to VP contact list/Speed dialing list
  2. In event of emergency, user will select “911now.tv” and dial
  3. User is immediately connected to VI (the call is moved up to the front of queue for quick answer)
  4. VI will ask for user information (name and location)
  5. VI connects to Emergency Call Center (ECC via Dash) based on user location
  6. ECC connects to an appropriate PSAP
  7. VI begins to relay conversation between user and PSAP (ECC will step out and disconnect)

Using the SprintVRS Website:

  1. User goes to www.sprintVRS.com
  2. User types ‘911’ in ‘Call to’ field
  3. Call is identified as emergency call and moved up to the front of queue for quick answer
  4. VI will ask for user information (name and location)
  5. VI connects to Emergency Call Center (ECC via Dash) based on user location
  6. ECC connects to an appropriate PSAP
  7. VI begins to relay conversation between user and PSAP (ECC will step out and disconnect)
