To Make an Emergency Call:
Using Your Videophone:
- User adds “911now.tv” to VP contact list/Speed dialing list
- In event of emergency, user will select “911now.tv” and dial
- User is immediately connected to VI (the call is moved up to the front of queue for quick answer)
- VI will ask for user information (name and location)
- VI connects to Emergency Call Center (ECC via Dash) based on user location
- ECC connects to an appropriate PSAP
- VI begins to relay conversation between user and PSAP (ECC will step out and disconnect)
Using the SprintVRS Website:
- User goes to www.sprintVRS.com
- User types ‘911’ in ‘Call to’ field
- Call is identified as emergency call and moved up to the front of queue for quick answer
- VI will ask for user information (name and location)
- VI connects to Emergency Call Center (ECC via Dash) based on user location
- ECC connects to an appropriate PSAP
- VI begins to relay conversation between user and PSAP (ECC will step out and disconnect)
